The birth of camping at Saint Léonard in Seine-Maritime
Les Pommiers campsite was founded in 1993, on the land of a former apple orchard. Hence its evocative name, a reminder of its origins and close ties with nature. We are the third owners of this campsite, having acquired it at the end of 2015 without being from the profession. So, in 2025, we celebrate our tenth season at the helm of this campsite, which has retained its soul while modernizing.
The evolution of Camping les Pommiers
Since our arrival, we have undertaken a number of works and installations to improve the image of the campsite. These include a children’s playground, a bread service every morning in July and August, a convenience store at reception and the sale of local produce.
Our campsite has received several certifications and labels, such as “Camping Qualité”, “Qualité Tourisme” and “Accueil Vélo”, which testify to our commitment to quality of service and respect for the environment.

The future looks bright for Les Pommiers campsite. We are considering upgrading to a 3-star rating, which reflects our determination to continue improving our services and facilities. We remain true to our core values: a warm welcome, a natural and verdant setting, and respect for nature.
